Have you ever found yourself with hundreds of containers created on your machine that you no longer use? I have, which is why I wrote myself the following commands to run from the shell to do more or less drastic cleanups of the system

#Stoppare tutti i container
docker stop $(docker ps -a -q)

#Eliminare tutti i container
docker rm $(docker ps -a -q)

#Eliminare tutti i volumi orfani
docker volume rm `docker volume ls -q -f dangling=true`

#Eliminare tutte le immagini
docker rmi $(docker images -q)
